    • While we have not discussed the QELS size distribution in detail, it is usually bimodal, with the major population close to the average value that is tabulated or plotted, accompanied by a population of smaller particles that are ca. one-third the size of the larger particles. In the case of the micelles prepared from 1.7 mg/mL dioxane (see Table 2), a single distribution of sizes around the mean was noted.
