2 laser and electrosurgery in terms of tissue injury and adhesion formation in a rabbit model. Fertil Steril 1997; 67:382-386. Interesting animal-model (rabbit) study conducted in well-controlled prospective manner. The results are different from previous data in which ultrasound energy has been shown to produce less coagulation necrosis. It could also mean that different animal models may give varying results and should not be interpreted as analogous to human surgery.
