Le Nouveau Commonwealth est une expression utilisée pour désigner le Commonwealth à l'exception de l'Australie, du Canada et de la Nouvelle-Zélande qui constituent, par opposition, les pays du Old Commonwealth. Le Nouveau Commonwealth est donc constitué par les pays de l'ancienne Afrique anglophone, les Antilles et la Guyane anglaises, certains pays du sous-continent Indien et du Sud-Est Asiatique et des pays méditerranéens tels que Chypre et Malte. Le Pakistan a rejoint le Commonwealth en 1989.
