One interpretation might be that the signal at δ 1.15 belongs to the pro-R methyl group and the signal at δ 1.10 belongs to the pro-S methyl group (Figure 1), and thus the major diastereomer has the structure shown. However, since stereochemical interpretations of non-rigid systems based on lanthanide induced shifts should be treated with caution, these assignments can only be considered as tentative.
