    • Comparison between SEM and QCM data reveals the relation between thickness (d) and frequency decrease (-ΔF) as follows: d (nm) = -0.022 ΔF (Hz). Two-dimensional hexagonal packing of spheres has the same mass as that of a uniform film with thickness of 60.5% of the sphere's diameter.
