    • π - A isotherm measurements were made on a Nima 611 Langmuir - Blodgett trough equipped with a Wilhelmy plate for pressure sensing. Arachidic acid was spread on the colloid surface using chloroform. π-A isotherm measurements were made at a temperature of 25 °C as a function of time after 30 min of spreading the Langmuir monolayer to allow for equilibration.
