At low percentages of methanol, the transformation of bands c to b becomes too slow to be observed. In the presence of 30% methanol, it becomes quite difficult to tune the microwave field. Therefore, a thin ESR tube was used. To enhance the S/N ratio, the ESR spectra were averaged by 10 scans (within 1.5 min scanning time) at a slightly larger modulation of 2 G.
