    • The substantial differences in the frequency changes observed for the assembly of the primary cystamine monolayer for a series of electrodes are attributed to the different roughness factors of the respective Au surfaces. These differences in the surface roughness are screened upon the assembly of the secondary layers, and specifically, the high molecular weight antibodies.
