    • 70 may influence the measured vibrational intensities and yield false overlayer thicknesses. The linear relationship between dose and thickness and the absence of any intensity increase due to cluster growth during annealing, however, suggest that this effect is minor or nonexisting for the systems investigated here. A refined calculation scheme which takes cluster size into account is currently being evaluated.
