    • A more realistic mechanism would take into account not only the average double bond length but also the distribution of double bonds as obtained from UV experiments. In addition, the mechanism should also incorporate not only initiation at the mmr sequence but also random degradation due to initiation of other labile chlorines, as is well documented.
