    • max values that were observed at 0.5 and 2.0 μM were 493.5 ± 0.5 and 493.5 ± 0.3 nm, respectively. Although we do not yet understand this phenomenon, we suspect that changes in fluorescent lifetimes and/or aggregation (turbidity) are primary factors that are responsible for this behavior.
