    • 3-cephem 1 (0.41 mmol) with styryltributyltin (1.5 M amounts) and copper(I) chloride (1.0 mol amount) in NMP (2 mL), 1,4-diphenyl-1,3-butadiene was afforded in 50% yeild (based on styryltributyltin) and 1 was recovered in 72% yield.
