Bcl-2 expression was studied in endometrial hyperplasia and carcinoma. While cytoplasmic bcl-2 expression of various degrees was found in hyperplasia and in well differentiated carcinoma, six of seven poorly differentiated carcinomas were bcl-2 negative. Although of interest, more studies are needed to determine the usefulness of bcl-2 as a prognostic marker.
