    • Digital simulations were used to obtain the working curves for a reversible dimerization reaction. The technical necessity for electrodes with different radii caused problems in evaluation, because it was not possible to give due consideration to the influence of the electrode size on the resulting diffusion field (for example, hemispherical mass transport) and, thus, the form and size of the voltammetric signal. The rate constants and the activation parameters therefore have a margin of error of at least ±20%.
