19. Methanol was employed as a solvent in preparation of the PAMAM dendrimer solution used for the film preparation. The residual shoulder peak at 1716 cm"1 stems from methyl esters that were generated from reaction of the grafted Gantrez with the methanol solution of the PAMAM dendrimer in the film synthesis.
