    • Briefly, through FACScan we endeavour to monitor the cellular components by means of specific monoclonal antibodies for such components. This technique lies in the measurement of both the scattered laser light by cells and the emitted fluorescence by the cells labelled by a fluorescent antibody directed towards such a cellular component. Significance was determined by comparison of the means with Student's test. All differences were significant at p < 0.001.
