40. We thank David A. Cheresh, Ph.D. and Mauricio Rosenfeld (The Scripps Research Institute, Departments of Immunology and Vascular Biology) for performing the biological assays on the synthesized compounds. These compounds were tested in a cell adhesion assay with β3CS1 cells and measuring their ability to inhibit binding of vitronectin and laminin P1 (0.1 μM -100 μM).
