Neurology 1996, 46:922-930. This study asseses the accuracy of six neurologists in making the clinical diagnosis of PSP when using previously published criteria and their own judgment. The accuracy is measured by comparing clinical and autopsy-confirmed diagnoses.

This study uses two different statistical techniques (logistic regression analysis and classification and regression tree analysis) to identify the best predictors of PSP at an early stage in autopsy-confirmed PSP cases and other related disorders.
