note

In the mixed lipid membrane of the lower content of 1a (less than 10%), it is reasonable to consider that 1a is homogeneously dispersed in the DMPC lipid. With increase of the 1a ratio, the lipid 1a easily aggregates to form a cluster in the mixed membrane. The sigmoidal curve for the binding affinity study suggests that such a cluster structure of 1a is needed for the Cyt-c binding. The N-demethylase activity was also found to be sigmoidal in the presence of the mixed lipid bilayer membrane.
