Update on upper urinary tract trauma
-
Wessells H, McAninch JW: Update on upper urinary tract trauma. • AUA Update Series 1996, XV:110-115. A comprehensive review of urinary tract trauma focused mostly on renal trauma. Criteria for radiographic assessment, indications for surgery and technical considerations are discussed. Renal exploration was required in only 1.7% of blunt injuries, but in 57% of penetrating injuries.
