The cluster was obtained as a THF solvate by a modified procedure: Benzyltri-n-butylammonium iodide was used instead of benzyltrimethylammonium iodide, and the reaction mixture, after being refluxed for 12 h, was not taken to dryness in vacuo, but was cooled to room temperature and stored overnight to afford the crystalline product. The crystals were filtered off, washed with THF, and dried in vacuo.
