9. The medium, based on L. Márton and J. Browse, Plant Cell Rep. 10, 235 (1991), contained Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal salts with Gamborg's vitamins (Sigma) supplemented with glycine (2 μg/ml), myoinositol (100 μg/ml), biotin (0.1 μg/ml), 1% sucrose, and 0.9% Bacto agar (pH 5.6).
