31. 3OD at temperatures far below the temperature of the homolytic bond dissociation of 5 (< 215°C) led to an exchange of all α-H atoms by deuterium. Addition of pyridine led to an acceleration of the isomerization and therefore we conclude that the isomerisation was due to a deprotonation-reprotonation reaction.
