Laparoscopic RPL is described in 26 patients with NSGCT. Nine patients had residual tumor post-chemotherapy, in whom laparoscopic RPL was significantly more difficult than in patients with low-stage disease. Therefore, the authors concluded that laparoscopic RPL is not recommended for patients with residual disease post-chemotherapy.
