[8] In all cases, products possibly arising from redistribution were found in the reaction mixture. In runs 2-4 in particular, a relatively large amount of an isomer of 1b was formed, though the detailed structure was ambiguous. GPC analysis of the reaction mixture revealed polymeric materials also being formed in all cases; the yields were variant, ranging from less than 5% up to 20%, depending on the catalyst.
