21. 10) The overall reaction was also performed with (1R,2S)-norephedrine and, following the same protocol, the enantiomer of 4a, 2,2-bis{2-[4(R)-methyl-5(R)-phenyl-1,3-oxazolinyl]}propane, was obtained whose rotatory power is obviously the opposite of that reported for 4a.
