However, it should be remembered that in the complexes of Goodgame et al., the trigonal bipyramid is subjected to an axial compression instead of an axial elongation. Moreover, the amine ligands in Goodgame's complexes are much stronger a donors than the oxygen atoms of a zeolite lattice. Therefore, a quantitative comparison of the ZFS parameters is not straightforward.
