    • The entrance and exit slits of 50 μm used correspond to a nominal wave, length resolution of 0.14 A (RVHM). On the basis of the observed widths of Ar autoionizing resonances, we conclude that the actual resolution achieved is ≈0.2 Ä (FWHM).
