    • note
    • We previously reported a B-state origin lifetime of 0.5±0.1 ps for the isolated molecule on the basis of depolarization dispersion measurements with a single parameter fit [J. Chem. Phys. 90,4125 (1989)]. When a fit to both the depolarization data and the B-state origin absorption line shape is performed with excited state rotational constants and the lifetime as fitting parameters a rovibronic homogeneous linewidth corresponding to a life-time of 0.8±0.1 ps is obtained. The resulting excited state rotational constants are A =4.90, B=0.25, and ξ=1.0.
