50. Effects of this are observed when the diffusion-controlled self-termination constants of the similar sized 2-hydroxy-2-propyl and tert-butyl radicals are compared. In benzene the self-termination rate constants for 2-hydroxy-2-propyl are much smaller than tert-butyl radicals and have a different temperature dependence, but in n-heptane they are alike: Schuh, H.
