    • IT for the 4+ and 6+ oxidation states could have been constrained to be the values obtained from the initial and final spectra. However, given the signal-to-noise ratio in this spectral region and the likely measurement error, it seemed more reasonable to obtain these values from the fit since it is significantly overdetermined.
