Sections of the circular dealing with information management received comments primarily from the general public, especially the library and academic communities. Sections of the circular dealing with information technology management received comments almost exclusively from Federal agencies. By and large. Federal agency personnel were not interested in questions of information management, only in questions of information technology management.
