In the low doping concentration region, impurities rarely disconnect the multileg ladder structure when they are doped randomly. The disconnection of the ladder is one of the random effects which we neglect in this work. On the other hand, the S = 1 chain system is always disconnected by doped impurities. Therefore, induced S = 1/2 spins at the ends of each open chain cannot obtain quantum coherence and so that the bulk gap structure is not destroyed upon impurity doping.
