1. A Vision of West Africa in the Year 2020, OECD Publications, Paris, forthcoming 1996. This study was carried out as part of the CINERGIE project, a joint initiative of the African Development Bank (ADB), the Permanent Inter-State Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS) and the Club du Sahel/OECD. It was conducted by an international multidisciplinary team co-ordinated by Anne de Lattre, Brah Mahamane, Jean-Marie Cour and Jean-Marc Pradelle. Funding was provided by the European Union, the World Bank and co-operation agencies in Belgium, Canada, France, the Netherlands and the United States.
