The EEC was considered as a member. The Eighth Ordinary Meeting nominated Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia-Erzegovina as member states replacing Yugoslavia. Nevertheless, for the purposes of the present contribution the UK was not regarded as a Mediterranean state.
