His recent research examines how religion and gender jointly affect sexist attitudes. His current work explores gender influences on sexual behavior over the life course. Nancy J. Bell is Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Texas Tech University. Her current research examines connections between gender and risk-taking behavior among youth. Charlotte C. Dunham, Associate Professor of Sociology, teaches women's studies, family studies, and gerontology at Texas Tech University. Her research has focused on activism and intergenerational relationships, with attention to gender differences in the experience of activism within the family.
