Coticosteroid treatment of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in the Lewis rat results in loss of Vβ8.2+ and myelin basic protein-reactive cells from the spinal cord, with increased total T-cell apoptosis but reduced apoptosis of Vβ8.2+ cells
