    • Cloning and characterization of Ancylostoma secreted protein: A novel protein associated with the transition to parasitism by infective hookworm larvae
    • 3 excretory/secretory products. Western blots using a polyclonal antibody against recombinant ASP 1 were used to characterize the kinetics of ASP 1 release. These experiments indicate that ASP 1 is released prior to the resumption of feeding, suggesting that feeding and ASP 1 secretion are independent events in the activation pathway.
