    • An identified immunodominant tumor antigen expressed by a carcinogen-induced murine colorectal tumor was demonstrated to be the gene product of an activated endogenous retrovirus env gene not expressed in normal tissues. This antigen may represent a distinct class of tumor antigens also expressed by some human tumors. In addition, this antigen may be demonstrated to be a shared tumor antigen.
