    • It should be noted in this context that the use of the zero wave vector limit of the structure factor for the relatively small cooperative volumes in consideration is probably inappropriate, and that the finite q version of the RPA model should probably be applied to describe the appropriate fluctuations. We, however, continue to work with the zero wave vector limit for simplicity, with the understanding that qualitatively similar results will be obtained in both cases.
