42. -1. The major isomer is expected on the basis of steric hindrance and hydrogen connection to have the OH syn to the carbonyl carbon. With this assumption, and with the aid of the results published by Roberts and Nelson, the individual resonances can be assigned to particular carbons of all of these oximes.
