    • The peak position of electroluminescence (EL) of π-conjugated polymers usually agrees with the peak position of photoluminescence (PL). The observed shift of the EL peak of vd-PTh to somewhat shorter wavelength from the PL peaks (681 and 622 nm; see text) of vd-PTh suggests the occurrence of EL through a unique electronic state.
