    • It should be noticed that the emission spectra of two fluorophores present in a solution at varying molar fraction would lead to an isoemissive point only if their quantum yields are similar and when the emission spectra of the two compounds are additive. When there is a big change in the fluorescence quantum yield and the emission spectra of two independently emitting fluorophores are similar, no isoemissive point would be expected.
