    • The concentration profile of equation (5) is accurate if y is not too small; if y is small the dominant contribution to the concentration is due to the adsorbed chains and is well described by the ground state dominance approximation (the second term in (5)). The small contribution of the non adsorbed chains (the first term) requires a more rigorous inversion of the Laplace transform.
