22. In this sense our localized exciton system is qualitatively different from that examined in the earlier linewidth studies (1-5). This difference arises from the use of growth interrupts at the interfaces in our samples, which completely changes the spectral and spatial distribution of the localized states [see, for example, D. Gammon et al., Appl. Phys. Lett. 57, 2710 (1990)].
