    • The selected bridge bond lengths are as follows: (A) in the gas phase R(C1-C2) = 1.4 Å, R(C2-C3) = 1.2 Å, and R(C3-C4) = 1.4 Å; (B) in the cumulenic structure all the above bond lengths are made equal to 1.33 Å. Here Cl corresponds to the 1′-C of the aryl group, C2 is the acetylenyl group carbon linked to the 1′-C atom, and C3 is other ethynyl group carbon bonded to the meso carbon (C4) of the porphyrin.
