Philipon F, Plumb VJ, Epstein AE, Kay GN: The risk of atrial fibrillation following radiofrequency catheter ablation of atrial flutter. Circulation 1995, 92:430-435. AFL was successfully ablated in 53 of 59 patients. Unfortunately, atrial fibrillation was documented in 14 of these patients over a mean follow-up of 13 months.
