    • The aggregation number is approximately estimated by the adsorbed amount dividing by the sulfate content which corresponds to the number of pendant polymer chains. This calculation is established on the basis of the hypothesis that surfactant molecules/ions adsorb cooperatively and form aggregates along the polymer chains.
