This paper reviews the course of 14 patients on hemodialysis and 17 patients on peritoneal dialysis who received rhuGH therapy. The patients experienced a marked increase in height velocity during the 1st year of therapy that decreased considerably during the 2nd treatment year. Factors that may have influenced the response to growth hormone therapy are discussed.
