S-n-octyl-β-D-thioglucopyranoside (all in presence of α-lactalbumin). and O (6-aminohexyl)-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-D-glucopyranoside as acceptor substrates of GaIT on an analytical scale by HPLC and TLC and proved the applicability of the reactivation of UDP-GIc 4′-epimerase.
